Thangarajah Dineshkanthan Sri Lanka’s No. 1 Tennis player pulled off the decider in the five-match Davis Cup relegation play- off held in Jounieh Lebanon last Sunday. Dineshkanthan, 22, who is presently serving in the Sri Lanka Air Force rose to the occasion by getting the better of the more experienced 30 year-old Karim Alayli who has played for his country in the Davis Cup, since 1999. Sri Lanka won the tie 3 games to 2 against Lebanon with Dineshkanthan winning the deciding game 6-2, 6-4, 6-1.
