The Sri Lanka Air Force representing the State Services won the Vanitha Vasana Netball Tournament 2013 defeating the Ports Authority in the final 64-58. The tournament was organized by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka and sponsored by the Peoples’ Bank.

Corporal Sonali Senarthne of the Sri Lanka Air Force was adjudge the best defender of the tournament whilst Sergeant Nimalika Thushani also from the SLAF was the best centre. The Netball Queen of the tournament Lady Officer Cadet Chathurangani Jayasundara was also part of the tournament winning Sri Lanka Air Force team.
