A delegation from the Pakistan National Defence University comprising of senior officers from the Pakistani Army, Navy and the Air Force and two civilian students of the University and senior military representatives from USA, UAE and China visited Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today 09 April 2013. The delegation was headed by Commodore Asif Saleem Chaudhry, Senior Instructor (M) of the NDU. The Head of Delegation, Directing Staff and the Senior Student Officer met the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Air Vice Marshal KA Gunatilleke for a brief discussion.

On their arrival at AFHQ, they were received by Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala the Director Operations. Subsequently, a briefing was conducted by Group Captain SJS Fernando Senior Air Staff Officer at AFHQ on the SLAF Operations and recent developments. Members of the AFBM also participated and were present for the Q & A session that followed.

Commodore Asif Chaudhry presented a symbolic memento to the Chief of Staff and the Chief of Staff reciprocated by presenting a memento to Commodore Asif to mark the event.
