The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama conducted the Annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Station Palaly on 22 April 2013. The Commander, upon the arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Palaly Gp Capt AJ Amarasinghe and was afforded a street lining which was commanded by Fg Off GP Amarasiri.

At the tour of inspection the newly constructed VVIP room, the renovated tower building, a new dining hall at the Officers’ Mess, the newly constructed dining hall and admin block at the Advanced Gunner Training School and the recently relocated SLAF Helitours Office in Jaffna town were declared open by the Commander. Addressing the Officers, Airmen and the Civilian staff of the Station the Commander praised all personnel on a commendable job done and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals to uplift the standard of the Station and the Sri Lanka Air Force.
