The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama conducted the Annual Inspection at SLAF Base H’goda on 31st May 2013. The Commander reviewed the parade which was commanded by the Base Commander Gp Capt RP Liyanagamage.

The Commander inspected four Lodger Formations of the Base viz. No 07 Helicopter Squadron, No 09 Attack Helicopter Squadron, No 02 Supply and Maintenance Depot and No 25 Regiment Wing.

Certificates of Commendation were awarded during the parade to 22821 Sergeant Balasooriya APKL- Aero E&T Fitter (Sp) and Mr. GWNP Gunarathna for the valuable service they rendered to the development of the Base.

Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers, Airmen and Air women of the Base, while praising the commendable job they had done and he encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals. The Commander emphasized that these Annual Inspections contribute toward the development of the organization.
