Airwoman to Take Part in the Badminton Championship in Maldives
Airwoman Lekha Shehani of the Sri Lanka Air Force has been selected to represent the country at the Maldives International Challenge – 2013 Badminton Championship which is scheduled to be held in Maldives from 5th to 9th June 2013.
Airwoman Lekha Shehani is the current national ranking No-1 and is enjoying a highly successful season, having performed outstandingly throughout the last two years. She is the only women representative on the team which comprises fifteen players. She is due to fly out this afternoon (3rd June 2013). The SLAF wishes her well in this international contest.
