Champion cyclist of the Sri Lanka Air Force LAC Jeewan Jayasinghe (Western Province) won the cycle race of the 39th National Sport Festival on 29th June 2013. The race wound its way through Katharagama, Tissa, Weerawila, Hambanthota, Lunugamwehera and ended once again in Katharagama covering a total distance of 160.9 km.

Seventy two leading cyclists from all provinces of Sri Lanka took part in this event. SLAF cyclists LAC Buddika Warnakulasuriya (North-western Province) and LAC Daine Nugera (Western Province) secured the 2nd and 5th   places respectively.
