In SLAF Academy China Bay the AOC's Parade was commanded by the Commandant, Air Commodore HMSKB Kotakadeniya.  The Commander awarded commendations to F/Sgt    Senanayake RMR  (Fire Fighter ),Sgt Dassanayake DMPS (Aero Engine Fitter) , LAC Dissanayake DMR (Ops Grd ),LAC Attanayake AMSK (Elect Works ) and Mr. MP Ariyasena (Grade I-Cook ) for their outstanding meritorious work. During the course of the inspections the Commander visited all areas of the Academy. On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks of the Academy at the Gymnasium and praised the commendable job they had performed and encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.

 At SLAF Morawewa, Commanding Officer Wing Commander HWR Chandima received the Commander on his arrival and a Guard of Honour commanded by Flight Lieutenant BWTS Bandara was accorded to him. F/Sgt  Gunarathne MV ( Carpenter ) and Cpl Dissanayake DSK ( Mason ) were commended by the Commander for exceptional dedication in the execution of duties during the past year.

The Commander concluded the inspection by addressing all ranks of SLAF Station Morawewa.
