The annual concert of the pre-school of Sri Lanka Air Force Colombo was held last evening (26 November 2009) at the ‘Namel Malini Punchi Theater’ Borella. The concert is being held for the second consecutive occasion following the upgrading of the old Montessori to  pre-school status in the year 2008 based on a concept introduced by the present chairperson of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Nelun Goonetileke. The pre-school is a welfare facility which initially catered to children of serving personnel, but later on it was decided to accommodate children of other persons as well.

The concert included dances, songs and dramas performed by 57 kids who learn their basic education at this pre-school. Mrs. Vasuki Premachandra the wife of Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal PB Premachandra graced the concert as the chief guest.
