SLAF Academy excels at the Inter Unit Water Polo and Swimming Championships
Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay emerged overall champions with 135 points in the Inter Unit Swimming Championship 2013 and also became champions of the men’s and women’s Inter Unit Water Polo Championship 2013.
Over 200 Airmen and Airwomen representing all Air Force bases, stations and units took part in various events which were held from 25th to 08th August 2013.
The Base Commander of SLAF Base Katunayake Air Commodore SK Pathirana witnessed the finals as the Chief Guest at the SLAF Swimming Pool at Katunayake. Chairman SLAF Swimming Air Commodore CP Welikala and a number of senior officers were also present at the finals.
