The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of the Sudan visits Air Force Headquarters

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Sudan, General (Retd) (Psc) Abdelrehman Mohamed Zein Ahmed, paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrema last morning, 27 August 2013.
The Secretary General was accompanied by the Director International Relations Major General (Retd) (Psc) Mubrak Abdallah Babiker Ali and the Director Air Force Training Air Vice Marshal Mohamed Ali M Mohmoud, the Defence Attache Brigadier (Psc) Gamareldin M F Hamid and the Protocol Officer Mr. Mohieldin Yousuf Mohamed.
General Abdelrehman’s visit to Air Force Headquarters was part of a five day goodwill visit to Sri Lanka which began on Monday the 26th. Matters of mutual interest were discussed between the visiting delegation and Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrea during the visit which was marked with the exchange of mementoes at the Air Force Commander’s board room. The Director Operations, Air Vice Marshal Gagan Bulathsinhala also attended the discussion.
The Secretary General is scheduled to conclude his visit to Sri Lanka on Friday the 30th during which time he was scheduled to call on the Commanders of the Army and Navy and the Chief of Defence Staff. He also visited the Defence Services Command and Staff College and was scheduled to meet with the Secretary Ministry of Defence and His Excellency the President during the course of his visit.
