The Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo won the Annual Inter Unit Tennis Championship which was held at the Colombo Air Force Sports complex from 16th to 21th September 2013.

The tournament was carried out on the basis of “Best of Five” and SLAF Station Colombo defeated, SLAF Station Diyatalawa in the finals winning the first three games played.

SLAF Station Colombo and SLAF Station Diyatalawa defeated SLAF Academy China Bay and SLAF Base Anuradhapura respectively in the Semi Finals.

In the Open category, Group Captain Amal Wimalaratna and Wing Commander Amal Dias became the Champions in the Doubles, defeating Wing Commander Nandika Salgado and Squadron Leader Nishantha Senevirathne whilst Sergeant Wijekumara became the individual Champion defeating Wing Commander Rajin Jayawardene.
 
The President of Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) Mr. Iqbal Bin Isack graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst, former President of SLTA and current Secretary of Asian Tennis Federation Mr. Suresh Subramanium and Air Vice Marshal Lalaka Peris former Vice President and current Executive Committee Member of SLTA and former Chairman of SLAF Tennis were among the distinguished gathering.
