Inter Unit Athletic Championship 2013
26 Regiment Wing SLAF Base Katunayeke won the Commander’s Challenge Trophy whilst SLAF Station Diayatalawa won the Chairman Athletics Challenge Trophy at the Inter Unit Athletic Championship 2013 which concluded last evening (26 September 2013) at SLAF Base Katunayake.
Officer Cadet Koswaththa was awarded the Lakshman De Aliwis Challenge Trophy awarded to the Best Men’s Athlete whilst Lady Officer Cadet Sewwandi IBMR was adjudged as the Best Women’s athlete of the Championship.
Director Administration Air Commodore JSI Wijemanne graced the presentation ceremony as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Athletic Air Commodore SK Pathirana and Command Sports Officer Group Captain RDCD Ravihansa were also present at the occasion.
