The batch which is consisted of ten newly enlisted Student Officers of the No 63rd Intake of Direct Entry Officers gave their oaths today (14th November 2013) at Air Force Headquarters prior to departing for their basic training at Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School Diyatalawa. The batch also included three female student officers enlisted to the Air Field Construction, Administrative Legal and Administrative Band branches respectively.
 
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama addressed the newly enlisted student officers during the oaths ceremony. The Chief Recruiting Officer Group Captain CB Labrooy was also present at the ceremony.
