The SLAF Taekwondo team was adjudged as the best upcoming Taekwondo team 2013 at the National Taekwondo Championship 2013 which was concluded last evening (30th November 2013) at the Indoor Stadium of the St. Josephs’ College Colombo.
 
The SLAF Taekwondo team comprising of both men and women performed exceptionally well and bagged 03 Gold, 02 Silver and 06 Bronze Medals whilst Aircraft woman Sinharage YI adjudged as the best woman Taekwondo player of the Championship.
 
The Minister of State Resource and Enterprise Development Hon. Dayasiri Tissera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Taekwondo Air Commodore HMSKB Kotakadeniya was also present at the event.
