The primary school at SLAF Base Katunayake became Champions in the Western Province English group singing competition organized by Department of Education at President’s College Rajagiriya recently. The SLAF little ones made this achievement defeating eleven Zonal winners at the finals of the competition.

The wining group consists of 20 students who were trained by Mr. Sarath Mallawarachchi, the English teacher of the school. Corporal Sugath FAC of SLAF Band Katunayake composed music for the song.
