Pakistani Naval Chief Calls on the Commander of the Air Force

A Delegation of Pakistan Naval Officials
headed by Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, NI (M), Chief of the Naval
Staff of the Pakistan Navy called on the Commander of the Air
Force, Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama, this evening (13th
December 2013) at Air Force Headquarters Colombo.
The Chief of the Naval Staff was received upon arrival, by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama and was afforded a Guard of Honour which was conferred by the Colour Squadron of the SLAF. The Guard of Honour was commanded by Flight Lieutenant OWKP Owitipana.
The delegation was accompanied by the Defence Attache of the Pakistan Embassy in Sri Lanka, Colonel Sheharyar Parvez Butt. The Commander had a discussion with the delegation on matters of mutual interest. The duo also shared views on opportunities and possibilities available for similar collaboration in the years to come.
Mementos were exchanged between Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila and the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force to mark this memorable occasion.
