A well equipped admin building comprising of modern and sophisticated infrastructure facilities was declared open by the Acting Chief of Defence Staff & Commander of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke at SLAF Station Palavi this morning (11 December 2009).

This building was built for the purpose of facilitating the functions of the No 05 Air Defence Radar Squadron which was established on 29th May 2007.
