The Sri Lanka Air Force rugby team defeated the CH & FC team by 36 (4 goals,1 try and 1 penalty)  to 20 points on 9th  February 2014 at Sri Lanka Air Force Rugby Grounds , Ratmalana in the second round of the Dialog League “A” Division rugby tournament for the Plate Title.

The SLAF victory came in spite of the fact that CH & FC were fielding two foreign players.  This is the second time the SLAF, the only team playing this year tournament without foreign players, defeated CH&FC in a 2014 “A” Division rugby tournament.
