The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal KA Gunatilleke conducted the Annual AOC’s inspection of SLAF Station Iranamadu during the morning hours of 21st March 2014. The Commander upon the arrival for the inspection, was received by the Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Iranamadu, Wing Commander MPA  Galappaththi and was afforded a street lining which was commanded by Flight Lieutenant DMK Gamage.

 The Commander inspected all areas within the Station including the Iranamadu runway, which  is nearing completion and appreciated the level of development of the station.

Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed the troops and awarded Commendations to Flight Sergeant Herath HMNP (Supply) and LAC Chandana Kumara MAB (Supply) to appreciate their valuable services rendered to the development of the SLAF Station Iranamadu.
