The first Defence Services Archery Championship was held recently at the Naval Cricket Ground in Welisara with the participation of a large number of competitors from the three forces.

Aircraftswoman Mallika YM from the Sri Lanka Air Force won a Bronze Medal in the Ladies Short Metric event. Director Training of the SLAF Air Commodore N H V Gunaratne graced the prize giving ceremony as the Chief Guest.
