The Ambassador for the embassy of the United States of America in Sri Lanka Mrs Patricia Butenis paid a visit to Air Force Headquarters this afternoon (30 December 2009) and met with the Acting Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Roshan Goonetileke.

Official plaques and pleasantries were exchanged between the two at this occasion.
