The Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo won the Championship whilst SLAF Academy China Bay became runner up at the Inter Unit Badminton Championship 2014 which was concluded on 9th May 2014. The Championship was held at the Indoor Stadium of the SLAF Base Katunayaka from 7th to 9th May 2014 a large number of participants representing all SLAF establishments.

Squadron Leader Keshani Wickramarathna won the Women's Singles whilst Leading Aircraftsman Gunasekara AI was awarded with the Corporal Gunawardana Memorial Trophy which is awarded to the best player of the tournament.

President of Sri Lanka Badminton Federation, Mr. Suraj Dandeniya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Badminton Group Captain R Senanayeka, Secretary SLAF Badminton Wing Commander Amal Dias, Officers and Other Ranks were also present at the finals.
