Gifts for Students Who Performed Well at the Gce O/L Examination 2013

In keeping with a concept of recognizing
academic achievements of children of SLAF personnel and civilians
employed in the SLAF , the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit organized a programme
to felicitate the students who performed extremely well at the GCE O/L
during the year 2013. The programme was held on 30th May 14 at AFHQ
Auditorium under the patronage of the Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit
Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke .
Nine students who obtained Nine “A” passes were selected and provided with a Gift Pack and a pass book of a newly opened account at Hatton National Bank (HNB) with a capital amounting Rs 10,000.00 deposited by the Seva Vnitha Unit (SVU) of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Chairperson of the SVU of the Sri Lanka Air Force Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke congratulated and expressed her best wishes to students who succeeded in the examination during the ceremony.
Apart from the main programme, a Wheel chair was donated to a civilian employee in the Air Force followed by the medical grant for the son of WO Silva by the Chairperson SVU.
Deputy Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghela, Parents of the children were also present on the occasion.
