Inter Unit Rifle Meet 2014

The Inter Unit Practical Rifle meet was held
at SLAF Range Ampara from 31 May 14 to 04 June 14. The event was
organized by the SLAF Shooting Team with the patronage of chairman SLAF
Shooting ,AVM K Yahampath. The event was successfully completed with
excellent performance by the competitors. 17 Men’s Teams and 7 Women’s
teams composed of 140 shooters took part in the event.
The
presentation ceremony was held on 04 June 14 at SLAF Range Ampara, with
the participation of the President National Rifle Association of Sri
Lanka and Chairman Shooting of SLAF, Director Ground Operation Air Vice
Marshall K Yahampath as Chief guest. The Commanding Officer SLAF Station
Ampara, Gp Capt C Wickramarathne also attended the ceremony.
