Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay emerged overall champions in the Inter Unit Swimming Championship 2014 and also became champions of the men’s and women’s Inter Unit Water Polo Championship 2013.

Over 200 Airmen and Airwomen representing all Air Force bases and stations took part in various events which were held from 05th to 08th August 2014.

The secretary of The Aquatic Union,  Mr Akry Ameen, witnessed the finals as the Chief Guest at the SLAF Swimming Pool at Katunayake. Chairman SLAF Swimming, Air Commodore CP Welikala and a number of senior officers were also present at the finals.

    Runners Up - SLAF Base Anuradhapura

Water Polo Women’s
    Champions    - SLAF Academy China Bay
    Runners Up   - SLAF Base Hingurakgoda

Swimming Overall Result
1st Place   - SLAF Academy China Bay   -    120 points
2nd Place  - SLAF Base Hingurakgoda     -    117 points
3rd Place   - SLAF Base Anuradhapura    -    60 points
