26 Regiment Wing SLAF Base Katunayake and SLAF Base Ratmalana   emerged men’s and women’s Champions respectively during the Inter Unit T - 20 Cricket finals held recently at the Rifle Green Ground SLAF Station Colombo.

In the men's finals, SLAF Station Ekala set a target of 132 runs in 20 overs and 26 Regiment wing SLAF Base Katunayake reached the target in 17 overs.

In the women's match, SLAF Base Rathmalana set a target of 193 runs in a 20 overs, but SLAF TTS Ekala could manage only 84 runs in 14 overs.

Chairmen National Women’s Cricket Selection Committee Mr. Jayantha Amarasinghe was the Chief Guest at the occasion. Chairman SLAF Cricket Air Commodore JSI Wijemanna, Air Commodore KFR Fernando, Commanding officer of the SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon, Officers and Other ranks were also present at this event.
