Sri Lanka Air Force Base Hingurakgoda organized a workshop for ladies in the Base to enhance their positive thinking and knowledge on self empowering recently in collaboration with the Base Seva Vanita Unit. Mrs. Piumali Wicramarathna, the President of Base Seva Vanitha Unit graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Discussion on positive parental styles was done by Dr. Dimuthu Perera the spouse of Flying Officer PM Murage. Mrs. Ramani Ramyalatha introduced Mushroom Cultivation as a way of self employment .Interactive session on Cooking Demonstration was also done by her. More than 150 service women, spouses of service personnel and female civil workers of the Base participated at this event. The occasion was also graced by the Base Commander Group Captain Sampath Wicramarathna and senior Officers of the Base.
