Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen’s Association Elders Home at Bolegala in Katana is a facility formed and administered by the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen’s Association with a view to take care of the Ex-Servicemen fraternity, who have rendered a yeoman service to the motherland. Elderly ex-servicemen belong to tri services reside at this facility.  Sri Lanka Air Force presently provides medical facilities to Elders Home Katana through Sri Lanka Air Force Hospital Katunayake.

Commander of Air Force Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke visited this facility today (04 September 2014). After an interaction with the inmates therein, the Commander donated clothing items for their usage.

Director Welfare AVM MLK Perera, Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayake Air Cdre SK Pathirana were also present at this occasion.
