The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke conducted the annual AOC’s Inspection of SLAF TTS Ekala and SLAF Station Mirigama on 5th September 2014.

The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain TADR Senanayake at SLAF TTS Ekala and was accorded a Street Lining at the station premises. The Commander awarded Commendations to following personnel for their outstanding meritorious services towards the activities of the TTS.

During the course of the inspection, the Commander visited all areas of the TTS. On conclusion of the inspection Commander addressed all ranks and praised the commendable job they had performed and encouraged them to set and reach even higher standards.

During the inspection at SLAF Mirigama, the Commanding Officer Group Captain SCK Pallewela received the Commander on his arrival and accorded a Street Lining.

The Commander awarded Commendations to following personnel for their outstanding meritorious services towards the activities therein.

The commander ceremonially opened the newly constructed Supply Section thereat and inspected all areas within the Station. The customary address by the Commander to all personnel was made on completion of the inspection.
