Firefighters from SLAF Base Anuradhapura went into action to fight the fire that broke out at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital this morning.  One fire tender, a water bowser and ten fire fighters led by one officer were deployed when the Hospital authorities contacted the Air Force Base this morning at approximately 0630.  Responding promptly, the SLAF fire fighters took action to access the affected area and to bring the fire under control.
