A Carols Programme entitled “Winter Wonderland,”presented by the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Air Force was held at the Eagles Lakeside Banquet and Convention Hall at Aththidiya on the evening of 18 December.  The event featured Air Force personnel and family members backed by the Air Force Band.  A Guest appearance was made by the Bishops College Choir.
  
The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, and the President of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the SLAF, Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke, received the First Lady, Mrs Shiranthi Rajapaksha, the Chief Guest at the event.  Guests of Honour included the Right Reverend Dhiloraj R. Canagasabey, Bishop of Colombo, the Commander of the Army, Lt Gen Daya Ratnayaka and the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera.
