The 89th ABA Men and Women National championship 2014 was concluded at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo, last week. The final event of this year's boxing calendar saw the cream of Sri Lankan boxers in action in the Sugathadasa ring. Sri Lanka Air Force's s Boxer Cpl Dilshan MYM won the most outstanding player of the year 2014 trophy for winning Bronze at the Robert to Baludo. Cubon International Boxing tournament 2014 and for winning Gold and being adjudged  best Boxer at the Lions cup International Boxing tournament where eleven countries participated.
