In view of Christmas festival, SLAF Station Ampara conducted an alms giving ceremony at “Sarana” Children’s Home Uhana, Ampara on 25 December 2014 under the guidance of the Commanding Officer Group Captain C Wickramaratne together with all officers and service personnel at the station.

Further, Santa Claus and the air force staff distributed Christmas gifts among disabled inmates and also offered ‘Dana’ for them. Throughout the day SLAF team entertained the disabled inmates by singing sessions and dance performances.

The President of the Seva Vanitha SLAF Station Ampara Mrs. Hiranya Wickramaratne, all officers and airmen in the station participated in this event.
