The Course No 09 of Defence Services Command and Staff College Sapugaskanda commenced on 05 January 2015. A total of 20 Air Force Officers have been selected to follow the staff course.

Commandant Major General NJ Walgama addressed all the Student Officers of Course No 09 on 07 January 2015.

The Defence Services Command and Staff College is the most prestigious and the highest seat of Military Education in Sri Lanka. The main aim of this college is to develop the professional knowledge and understanding of selected Student Officers from the Tri Services, friendly foreign countries and other public institutions in order to prepare them for higher appointments.
