The Sri Lanka Air Force ruggerites defeated Police SC by 44 to 22 yesterday evening (20th Feb 2015) at Ratmalana Air Force grounds, in their Dialog inter Club 'A' Division League Rugby Tournament.

Air Force scored their 44 points with 4 goals, 2 unconverted tries and 2 penalties while police scored 1 goal and 3 unconverted tries.

Fijian Opathie Belena, AC Nuwan Perera, LAC Surya Krishan, LAC Ranil Medagedara scored the tries for Sri Lanka Air Force with AC Nuwan Perera adding the extra points to the tries scored by Belena, LAC Krishan and his own two tries. He also fired across both penalties for the Airmen.

Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal KA Gunatilleke graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairperson of the SLAF Seva  Vanitha Unit Mrs. Roshani  Gunatilleke, Chief of Staff of the Air Force Air Vice Marshal GP Bulathsinghala, Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of Air Force, Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Base Commander Of the SLAF Base Rathmalana, Air Commodore PDKT Jyasinghe and Senior Officers of the SLAF were also present to witness the event.
