SLAF Personnel Shine at South Asian Games

SLAF sportsmen and women were at the helm of many Sri Lankan victories
at the 11th SAF Games concluded in Dhaka. Forty two SLAF personnel
being a part of the Sri Lanka contingent was incidentally a record for
SLAF participation in a National contingent.
Airwomen Chandrika Subashini Rasanayake was outstanding with two golds in the 200m and 400 m sprints on the track, whilst Premila Priyadarshini and Sujani Buddhika were a part of the 4 x 100 gold medal winning relay team. Premila Priyadarshini incidentally won the Silver in both the 100m and 400m sprints whilst Chandrika Subashini Rasanayake was a member of the Silver winning 4 x 400 relay team.
