SLAF’s men and women shooters emerged both Team Champions in the Open Division event while the Production division men and women shooters also became the Champions in their categories at the Golden Eagle IPSC Hand Gun Nationals 2015 concluded last evening at SL Navy Welisara.

The event was organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force in collaboration with National Rifle Association at the firing range of the Naval Base, Welisara from 26 to 28 March. The event was organized under the IPSC (International Practical Shooting Configuration) rules with participation of over 130 shooters from ten shooting clubs in the island.

The Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.  The President of National Rifle Association Air Vice Marshal Kishan Yahampath, Officials of NRA, representatives of Sport Clubs, Officers and other ranks were also present at the occasion.
