SLAF Women Excel at the 29th NYSC Rupavahini Volleyball Championship
The SLAF won the 29th Youth Rupavahini Volleyball Tournament Women's title last evening (11 Apr 15) at the National Youth Services Indoor Stadium, Maharagama.
8 teams took part at this year tournament and SLAF beat Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau 25-17, 25-20 and 25-09 in the Cup final.
Airwoman Anusha Sandamali was adjudged the best player of the tournament whilst AC Ashani Chamodika and AC Chathurika Gayani emerged the best setter and best blocker of the tournament.
