SLAF Station Mirigama and No 04 ADRS Celebrate Their 8th Anniversary

SLAF Station Mirigama and No 04 ADRS at SLAF
Stn Mirigama celebrated their 8th anniversary on 1st June 2015 with
great dignity. A series of events that commenced on 25th May 2015 under
the supervision and guidance of Commanding Officer Gp Capt SCK Pallawela
lead up to the celebration proper.
A medical camp was held at Kosatadeniya Junior School on 28 May 2015 providing free medical and dental screening for the villagers and the students of the school.
Further, a special program was arranged on 28 May 2015 to spend time with differently abled children at “Our Children” school at Bothale, Ambepussa, including a fatigue program, religious activities, entertainment program and distribution of dry rations and other necessities.
The working parade was held on 01 June 2015 and the same was inspected by the Commanding Officer Gp Capt SCK Pallawela. The activities concluded with a cricket tournament and an all ranks lunch on the same day.
