The passing out parade of No 160 Intake Regular Airmen and No 30 Intake Regular Air Women Recruit Courses was held at Sri Lanka Air Force Station Ampara on 19 June 2015.  The Director Civil Engineering of the Air Force, Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe graced the occasion as the chief guest.

A total of 258 recruits who completed their basic combat training passed out on this day in front of a large gathering of more than 4000 spectators including parents, well wishers and distinguished invitees. The parade was commanded by Chief Instructor of the Regiment Training Centre Sqn Ldr GDDPK Hathurusinghe.

The event was made colorful by a drill display, unarmed combat display and a demonstration on camp attack performed by the trainees. The SLAF Band display, and parachute display conducted by the SLAF Parachute Team added further glamour to the event and parents of the recruits thanked the SLAF for giving the opportunity to witness a great parade.
