Commander Visits India

The Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala made an official visit to India recently, on the invitation of CAS of the Indian Air Force.
Air Marshal Bulathisinghala, a graduate of the National Defence College, India was hosted to tea by his course mates at the NDC.
The Commander laid floral tributes at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate and was accorded a Guard of Honour when he arrived at the Air Headquarters. He was welcomed by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha at Air Headquarters and was later hosted to Dinner at the Air House.
The Commander made calls on the Raksha Manthri Manohar Parikkar, the Secretary of Defence G Mohan Kumar as well as the Chiefs of Army and Navy Staffs.
Air Marshal Bulathisinghala also paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner for Sri Lanka in India HE Professor Sudharshana Seneviratne at his residence.
During the visit the Commander was conducted on a tour of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) as well as the Sacred sites of Bodhgaya and Thirupathi.
