Best Web Awards 2015

The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) official website, www.airforce.lk received the gold award for the Most Popular Website-Special Category (Government) and the Silver award in the Government Category at the Best Web Competition 2015 at a ceremony held at the Kingsbury, Colombo, on 13th August 2015.
In the government category www.parliament.lk (the Parliament of Sri Lanka) received the Gold Award whilst the Silver and Bronze Awards were presented to www.airforce.lk (Sri Lanka Air Force) and www.navy.lk (Sri Lanka Navy). The Gold Award for the most popular website in this category was won by the SLAF.
Director of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Chief Information Technology Officer , Group Captain AS Vithana, and Command Media Officer, Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne were among those present at the Awards ceremony.
The awards were officially handed over to the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala by the Director of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Chief Information Technology Officer , Group Captain AS Vithana, and Command Media Officer, Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne at Air Force Headquarters today (14 Aug 15).
