Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental Programme at SLAF Station Morawewa

A Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental programme was conducted at SLAF Stn Mow on 19th and 21st August 2015. This is the Seventh programme of the series of Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental programmes planned by the Directorate of Dental Services. The purpose of this programme is to provide efficient and effective dental care for service personnel of the SLAF where there is no adequate Oral Health Care service.
A team comprising of 08 Dental Doctors and 40 Dental Assistants participated in this programme, which provided both preventive and curative dental care for all service personnel at SLAF Stn Mow.
Further, a Mobile Dental Clinic was also conducted at “Morawewa South Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya” at Morawewa on 20th August 2015 for school children of the area.
