A Delegation From The Bangladesh NDC Visits Air Force Headquarters

A 23-member delegation of the Bangladesh National Defence College (NDC) comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services from Bangladesh, Nigeria, India and few Officials from Bangladesh Civil Service who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (03 September 2015).
The delegation was headed by Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy.
On their arrival to AFHQ, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunaratne, the Director Training of the Air Force. Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Group Captain Lasitha Sumanaweera, the Senior Staff Officer Air Operations on ‘Post conflict role and challenges’ of the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Members from the board of Management also present at the occasion.
The delegation had the opportunity to meet the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala who made himself available for an interactive Q&A Session for the benefit of the senior ranking NDC students on 02 September 2015.
On conclusion of the Q&A session, Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy presented a symbolic memento to the Commander. The Commander reciprocated by presenting a memento to Lieutenant General Chowdhury Hasan Sarwardy to mark the event.
