Air Force Athletes excel in Thailand

Sri Lanka Air Force athlete Leading Air Craftman  Ishara Sandaruwan, who set a Sri Lankan record winning  4th place in the pole-vault  at the Thailand open Track and Field Championship 2015, returned home last evening.  Leading Air Craft Man Suminda Ranasinghe won a Gold medal for javelin event at the same Championship.

LAC Sadaruwan sat a Sri Lankan record in his pole-vault  event reaching 4.9Meters and LAC Ranasinghe reached 75.19 Meters in his javelin event.

The two athletes were welcomed by Air Force officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
