SLAF TTS Ekala Wins the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2015
Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School Ekala won the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2015 beating SLAF Academy China Bay by 27-19 in the finals concluded at Rifle Green Grounds SLAF Station Colombo amidst a large gathering today(15 Sep 15).
SLAF TTS Ekala player Cpl Nandasiri was adjudged the best Shooter while Lady Officer Cadet Anthony KSB and Lady Officer Cadet Liyanage HS of Academy Cby, were selected as Best Center Court Player and Best Defender respectively. AC Pabasara WAP of SLAF TTS Ekala was crowned The Netball Queen of the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2015.
The Chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the main awards.Commanding Officer of SLAF Station Colombo Air Commodore Prasanna Payoe, Officers, Airmen and Air Women representing the Academy, Bases and stations were also present at the occasion.
