Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo won the Championship whilst SLAF Academy China Bay became runner up at the Inter Unit Badminton Championship 2015 which was concluded on 19th Sep 2015. The Championship was held at the Indoor Stadium of the SLAF Health Management Centre (HMC) Thummulla from 15th to 19th Sep 2015 a large number of participants representing all SLAF establishments.

Leading Aircraftmen Gunasekara GR of SLAF Station Baticaloa and Sergent Vithana MU of  SLAF TTS Ekala  won the Men’s and Women’s Open Championships respectively.

The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. members from the Air Force Board of Management, Chairman SLAF Badminton Group Captain R Senanayeka, Secretary SLAF Badminton Wing Commander Amal Dias, senior officers and Other Ranks were also present at the finals.
