The certificate awarding ceremony of No. 63 Non Commissioned Officers’ Management Course was held at Ground Training School Auditorium of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay on 25th September 2015. Air Commodore RPT Corea, the Command Development Project Officer graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay Air Commodore HMSKB Kotakadeniya also witnessed the event.

The primary objective of conducting this Course is to impart a sound academic and managerial knowledge to Non Commissioned Officers while sharpening their leadership qualities within of the SLAF. The Course runs through a well-formed Syllabus over a scheduled period of 11 weeks. The comprehensive Course is affiliated to the University of Rajarata and all Non Commissioned Officers who fulfil the required criteria will be awarded with a Certificate in Management.

The 63rd Batch comprising 43 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 39 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 02 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SL Army, 01 Chief Petty Officer and 01 Petty Officer of SL Navy. Certificates were awarded to the total of 86 Non Commissioned Officers to acknowledge the successful completion of the course.

25801 Sergeant Kumara WAMN (Admin Assts Sp I) was placed as the best all-round Senior Non Commissioned Officer while 30125 Corporal Rathnayake RMDN (AFQC) was placed as the best all-round Junior Non Commissioned Officer. Other special award winners are as follows.
