Defence Services Team To Take Part at 6th CISM World Military Games

The Sri Lanka Defence Services team left the
Island on Sunday (27 September 2015) to take part at the 6th CISM World
Military Games to be held in Mungyeong, South Korea from 02 September to
11 October 2015.
The Sri Lankan team comprises eighteen (18) Track & Field athletes (10 men + 8 women) and five (05) Boxers of international fame.
Air Vice Marshal Rohan Pathirage is the Chief of Mission of the contingent and the team is expected to bring glory to motherland at this competition.
Nine Thousand military men and women representing 110 nations are expected take part at this Games under the motto “Friendship through Sports”.
